Dhawan will be playing his 111th innings in the second ODI and has plenty of time to surpass Kohli and Richards in the all-time list.

King of Indian Cricket Team MSD returns back from where his Journey Started

After the phenomenal performance of India in First One Day International against West Indies, India is all set for its Second One Day International at Visakhapatnam.

Yes, you read it right, Visakhapatnam where MSD began his journey. Dhoni is very near to complete his 14 years in international cricket. He had made his ODI debut against Bangladesh in December 2004. India won the match and since then, Dhoni’s graph went upwards.

The 37-year old and the two times World Cup-winning former Skipper walked in and inspecting the pitch alongside Ambati Rayudu and talked with groundsmen on the eve of the second One-day International between India and West Indies.

BCCI tweeted pictures of him talking to the curator and getting the feel of the venue again.

The BCCI tweeted: “ The KING is here! This ground and the city of Visakhapatnam has a special bond. Memories aplenty. Let's create plenty more tomorrow. #TeamIndia #INDvWI”

MS Dhoni longevity is proven by the fact that none of the players that featured in Indian Cricket Squad against Pakistan in the 2005 match are active anymore. That was the knock that made the cricketing world aware for who MS Dhoni is. He scored 148 against Pakistan.

Dhoni has plenty of memories associated with the venue and MS Dhoni would want to recreate some in the game against West Indies. MS Dhoni had praised the city and its beautiful landscapes.

Dhoni in the venue has batted four times so far, aggregating nearly 250 runs with a healthy average of 80 and a strike rate above 100. From more than 13 years ago, Dhoni coming to bat at No.3 after the fall of Sachin Tendulkar , Dhoni changed the complexion of the game.

The bond Dhoni and the venue and the port city share, it was apt when a group of match volunteers declared "MSD is the city's favourite, our favourite". "No one but MSD."

Will India’s Tour of Australia be challenging or not in absence of Australia’s Key Players

India’s Tour of Australia is one of the Intense rivalries in cricket. Unlike the previous tour, this time the tour will have series across all the three formats of the game.

The tour will begin from November 21 in Brisbane with its first T20I and will end on January 18 in Melbourne with its last and the third ODI. India vs Australia will have 3 Twenty20 Internationals, 4 Test matches, and 3 One Day Internationals.

The special thing about this tour is that it will start from Twenty20 Internationals and not the Test series. Usually, any tour starts with the Test series like the current ongoing tour of India vs West Indies. Former India’s tour of Australia consisted of only limited overs series.

The biggest question of this time is with the absence of Australia’s premier batsmen Steve Smith and David Warner due to their year-long suspensions for their involvement in ball-tampering, will this tour will be challenging for India or not.

Many great cricketers of past time had given statements on this, The Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar thinks that the upcoming tour will be challenging even though the star players of Australian Cricket Team David Warner & Steve Smith are absent.

As per him, no overseas tour is easy and this tour will be challenging because when you play outside your home country you need to adapt to certain conditions. So it won't be easy for bowlers as there is hardly any movement these days.

While The Indian Spinner Harbhajan Singh feels that in the absence of Australian star players Steve Smith and David Warner, India will have the advantage in the four-match Test series.

As per him, the responsibility to perform well will be on Indian batsmen as the Indian bowlers have already shown their capability to pick 20 wickets in foreign conditions.

It would be interesting to watch how Australia will play without their premier players and will it be challenging for India or not. Match Prediction here will be quiet interesting.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma Partnership in ODI Cricket

During the first One Day International in Guwahati of the 5 ODI matches that are scheduled between India and West Indies, the partnership between Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli was wonderful.

The match was won by India by 8 wickets and India took the lead by 1-0. India chased the 323 runs target against West Indies easily. Rohit Sharma remains unbeaten. He scored 152 runs off 117 balls and Virat Kohli made 140 Runs off 107 balls. They together put on 246 runs for India.

The current Indian Captain Virat Kohli and the Vice Captain Rohit Sharma’s partnership is amongst the greatest in the history of ODI cricket. The two hit sparkling centuries in first ODI at Guwahati.

The partnership between Indian batsmen like Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly, MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh was also the best in the history of ODI cricket.

Most double century in ODI goes to Rohit-Virat. They did it 5 times in One day Cricket. Apart from that, Virat Kohli - Gautam Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar-Sourav Ganguly, and Mahela Jayawardene-Kumar Sangakkara did it 3 times each.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in the second Innings made the longest partnership till date by making 246 runs together against West Indies. Before Rohit, this record was held by Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir partnership of 224 runs against Sri Lanka.

15-century partnership stands by Virat-Rohit. Till now, only 6 pairs have achieved this landmark and among them, Virat and Rohit are the ones who are still playing.

The average of the partnership between Virat and Rohit is 65.5 which is highest among all the duos who have scored 15 or more century stands.

Virat and Rohit have scored 3931 runs together till now which is 7th highest runs among all the Indian Duos. Among currently playing pairs, Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma scored 3936 runs in partnership.

In 37 matches won by India, the pair average is 84.1 while their run average 42.6 in the 25 matches which India lost. This clearly depicts when they play well together, the Indian team wins.

Here is what Sourav Ganguly told about MS Dhoni in first ODI against West Indies at Guwahati

Hosting its first ODI, the Assam Cricket Association invited Sourav Ganguly as the guest of honor. He was felicitated with traditional Assamese gamcha and xorai, an offering pot with a stand at the bottom, a decorative symbol of Assam used for offering tamul pan (betel nut and leaves).

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly backed the struggling Mahendra Singh Dhoni to do well in the World Cup.

MS Dhoni batted four times in Asia Cup scoring 77 runs with an average of 19.25 and a strike rate of 62.09. In the year 2018, Dhoni has batted 10 times in 15 matches, for an average of 28.12 and a strike rate of 67.36. Dhoni has an unimpressive record in England.

Sourav Ganguly said the ongoing series against West Indies would be important and critical for Dhoni who is looking forward for ICC World Cup 2019.

India has 18-odd matches left for the World Cup, starting with the five-match ODI series against West Indies.

Sourav Ganguly while watching the ODI at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium with Assam governor Jagdish Mukhi told PTI that "I don't know what combination they are thinking at. But I'm sure he (Dhoni) will do well in the World Cup. It's (against West Indies) big series for him,"

Sourav Ganguly said that Dhoni’s overall record is very good. He added that it all depends on how the players perform going ahead to the World Cup. It is about scoring runs. That's why Rishabh Pant has been given a chance.

Ganguly further said that India is a good ODI side and this World Cup will be worth watching. All teams will play all and the best four will go. It will be a competitive one.

ICC Cricket World Cup will begin from May 30 at The Oval, London. The Indian Squad had not been announced yet. But there are chances that players like Ajinkya Rahane, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammad Shami will be dropped from Indian Squad in World Cup 2019.

How to predict Cricket Match?

Cricket Lovers and the die heart Cricket fans want to know everything in advance. They love

reading cricket match prediction and some bet too. Cricket is one the sport that is watched

and played by many. We Indians are passionate about cricket and often think how to predict

upcoming matches.

Some factors that actually determine the match prediction are- Conditions at Home, Strength of

the teams, Key players of the team and the toss. These factors are easy to analyze and predict

who will be the winner of the match.

Home Conditions is one of the factors that will define the Winner in the match. Crowd Support is

also important for players on the ground. Home Conditions like the Pitch Nature- Flat/ Damp

Wickets, Climatic factors and above all the Home Crowd.

Home Conditions is not the only factor for Cricket but also for other Sports like Football, Hockey

etc. Home Team gets better Motivation.

Team Strength is the key factor for prediction. Team Strength should be balanced for winning

any match. Fast Bowlers and Spinners contribute as per the condition. Similarly, Left-hand

Batsmen and Right-hand Batsmen contribute. Any match is all about teamwork and the kind of

players in the team matter a lot.

Key or Special or Star or Premier Players, let them call by any is one of the contributing factors

in any match prediction . This factor is entirely dependent upon the personal ability of the

players. Players like Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Virender Sehwag, Steve Smith, Shikhar Dhawan,

David Warner, Joe Root, Chris Gayle, etc., should be dealt with accordingly with some strategy.

Similarly for bowlers too.

Last but not the least factor in predicting a cricket match is the Toss. There is a certain amount

of advantage for a Team if it had won the Toss. This may be the deciding factor in a match as it

would give the team the option of choosing "what they want".

What Hardik Pandya said when he was criticized by the greats

In the Asia Cup encounter against Pakistan, Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya got injured and is striving to reclaim full fitness. In his absence from the Indian Cricket Team, Ravindra Jadeja seemed to have filled his role in both ODI and Test cricket. Although Hardik Pandya is exceptionally talented, the cricketer has often been harshly criticized for wasting himself by Sunil Gavaskar and Michael Holding. In the post-match show with the broadcaster of India vs England series, Sunil Gavaskar angrily asked that Do you want to call Hardik Pandya an all-rounder? and whoever wants to call him an all-rounder, they may call! But he doesn't think so. To ESPNCricinfo Michael Holding said, "Apparently they are playing Hardik Pandya as an allrounder to help out with the bowling. When he bowls he isn't as effective as he should be. If he was a good batsman, if he was getting runs - 60s, 70s, not even regular hundreds - at the number at which he bats and then he bowls and gets two or three wickets, happy, hallelujah. Happy with that. But he is not getting the amount of runs that can then allow him to get a wicket or two in the Test match. That doesn't work," Hardik Pandya recently celebrated his 25th birthday and he welcomed the arrival of a new member in his family - his dog 'Bentley'. Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina , KL Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Ashwin Ravichandran, and many others wished him on his birthday on Twitter. Rohit Sharma wished him Happy Birthday and he hopes that Pandya will soon get back on the field. Hardik Pandya said he is not disheartened by the criticism by the past greats. He told that he is seriously focused is on Winning the World Cup 2019. On returning back Hardik Pandya said that he is recovering. He is busy with his fitness session and physiotherapy. He doesn't know when is he returning but is fully focused on getting fit. On getting heartbroken for he got injured against Pakistan, Hardik Pandya said that it was not about Pakistan. It was disappointing to get injured like that. He took it positively and considered it as a break from cricket.

Whom Sourav Ganguly thinks as a massive game changer for India

Indian National cricket team played brilliantly against West Indies in the Test series. After winning the first Test by an innings and 272 runs, Men in Blue continued their good run by winning the next match by ten wickets.

Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly selected a young player who according to him will be a massive game changer for India in the coming years.

In the Test series against West Indies, two players who impressed everybody with their fearless approach were Prithvi Shaw and Rishabh Pant.

Rishabh Pant had scored his debut ton against England earlier this year and Prithvi Shaw smashed a century on debut during the opening Test against West Indies at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot.

Prithvi Shaw was declared as Man of the Series as he amassed 237 runs in the series with a brilliant average of 118.5.

Sourav Ganguly on his Official Twitter account tweeted that the Rishabh Pant will become one of India's massive game changers. His tweet read as: "Rishabh pant is so freshing at the crease .. just natural .. will be a massive game changer in this side in all formats .. rare talent,".

Rishabh Pant had scored a fighting 134-run knock during the fifth and the final Test against England earlier this year followed it with a 92-run knock in the first Test against West Indies.

Unfortunately, in the 2nd Test, he was dismissed for the same score.

Rishabh Pant was involved in a crucial 152-run stand for the fifth wicket with Ajinkya Rahane in the first innings of the 2nd Test which put India back in the good position.

After the two-match Test series, India will now take on West Indies in a four-match ODI series beginning from October 21. The first match will be played in Guwahati. The second match will be in Vishakhapatnam. The third match will be in Pune and the fourth match will be in Mumbai.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had earlier announced the squad for the first two ODIs where Rishabh Pant received his ODI call-up.

What Bhuvneshwar Kumar thinks about Australia Tour

The Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar feels that in upcoming India vs Australia tour will be challenging even though the star players of Australian Cricket Team David Warner & Steve Smith are absent.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar also feels that no overseas tour is easy. He said that the Australian tour will be challenging and no tour is easy. This tour will be challenging because when you play outside your home country you need to adapt to certain conditions. It won't be easy for bowlers as there is hardly any movement these days.

Australia will be without the services of David Warner and Steve Smith as both are serving a one-year ban for ball-tampering during the team’s previous visit to South Africa.

The absence of David Warner and Steve Smith will affect Australia on this Bhuvneshwar said that he cannot say that we will overcome them. They don't have the two batsman: Smith and Warner, who have done well over the years but there are other batsmen in their place and it is not that they aren't good.

The Uttar Pradesh fast bowler added that it is their home conditions and for us if the two: Smith and Warner were there, it is a challenge, now they are not there, it will still be a challenge.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar also said If it would have been easy, we would have always won the series (in the past). It won't be easy. Their preparation in the practice matches there will matter.

Bhuvneshwar has been on rest for the first two ODIs against the West Indies. He played 92 ODIs and 21 Tests, lauded the rotation policy of the team management.

The right-arm fast bowler said that the way fast bowlers are managed, the rotation policy is in a way good, as we get a break and others get a chance and the body remains fresh. He stressed the need to have breaks.

He said that Breaks are needed after you play a long tour. You are mentally tired like Jasprit Bumrah said when you return you are fresh and are raring to go. Hence when your body gets tired breaks are needed.

Here is what Harbhajan said on upcoming India vs Australia Tour

There are many statements given by great players of past time on India vs Australia tour.

This time Australia will be without the services of David Warner and Steve Smith. Both of them are serving a one-year ban for ball-tampering during the team’s previous visit to South Africa.

On this, Spinner Harbhajan Singh feels that in the absence of Australian star players Steve Smith and David Warner, India will have the advantage in the four-match Test series.

Harbhajan also said that the responsibility to perform well will be on Indian batsmen as the Indian bowlers have already shown their capability to pick 20 wickets in foreign conditions.

As per IANS, Harbhajan said that “If we bat well there, we have got the bowling to get them out. Without Smith and Warner, this is our best chance to win a series there,”.

The India spinner also praised Kuldeep Yadav , who has been performing consistently since breaking into the side. Harbhajan said that Kuldeep has the potential to become India’s no.1 spinner in the future.

Bhajji said that Kuldeep has shown glimpses of what he can do on a first-day wicket. Harbhajan said that he is slower in the air and gets the ball to turn both ways. He said that he should be India’s key and deciding factor. He will be the No.1 spinner in future. As per Bhajji, the team depends on a lot on him.

On the other hand, the Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar feels that in upcoming Australia tour will be challenging even though the star players of Australian Cricket Team David Warner & Steve Smith are absent.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar said that the Australian tour will be challenging and no overseas tour is easy. This tour will be challenging because when you play outside your home country you need to adapt to certain conditions.

On the absence of David Warner and Steve Smith, Bhuvneshwar said that he cannot say that we will overcome them. They don't have only the two batsmen: Smith and Warner, who have done well. There are other batsmen in their place and it is not that they are not good.
